I recently made my first sock monkey. Well, it was supposed to be a monkey, but I put the ears on wrong (surprise ) and now it is just a sock creature. We left him at Jim Jeffers Park here in Cape Coral, Florida. I felt bad just leaving him on the bench, but there were lots of kids around to give him a new home. We saw a couple people look at him but they didn't pick him up. I guess people are just a bit more cautious now-a-days.
Alls I know is that I am hooked now. I'm hooked on making sock creatures and I'm hooked on doing toy drops for The Toy Society!

I am doing my first drop as soon as the weather clears in Slidell, LA. I can't WAIT!
Don't you just get a kick out of it?
We had a BLAST! Even hubby is getting into it. Each time I make a new toy now he asks if it is going to be "dropped". lol
I saw this little guy on the Toy Society blog. He's so cute. I joined and can't wait to get started sewing little softies in search of a new home!
