A mystery revealed



This is the gorgeous results of the first quilt mystery that I have ever done. I am so happy that I participated. This beauty will be staying at my house! With the Fourth coming soon I'm sure I can find some nice star fabric for the back.

I learned a new technique for making the flying geese. It is a quicker way to do them but I need more practice because I lost a few points. This quilt looks more complicated than it really is. I liked doing it in little bite size pieces...lots of little pieces lol.

    I'd love to hear more about the new flying geese technique - they're not my favorite.

    Congratulations! It's wonderful. I did a new flying geese technique recently and I must say I like my old method better. Good thing is different ways to do things so we can do what works best for us.

    Beautiful! Was there a suggested color scheme, or did you choose your own? It's perfect for that pattern.

    I love your red white and blue quilt. I love stars an this really spoke to me. Your mystery quilt colors were all in the perfect place. I like to do mysteries but I like to see a finished photo first so I can figure out the color pacement. So I guess I like part mysteries. :)

    Jackie, Elenore Burns flying geese ruller will make you WANT to do flying geese. It takes all the work out of making them!
