In search of....

Several of us are looking for this gorgeous pattern. Does anyone have any information on this pattern? I don't even have the name but people are calling it the Christmas tree doily and others are calling it a Pineapple tree motif.

THANKS!!!!

The fat sergeant said I would have to pay a toll if I wanted to go up the hill. That little rat, how am I supposed to win the war if I have to pay? If it wasn't so far, I would go and get the law! That lot should be covered in tar and feathers! All hail Robin!!!

Harry Potter

We are a Harry Potter family. Everyone has either read all the books or seen all the movies. Our youngest Robbie (9) hasn't had much interest in the actual books since he has been watching the movies over and over before he could read the books. Someday he may realize that there is more in the books than what is in the movies. Until then, maybe he will be interested in the new Harry Potter and the Tales of Beedle the Bard. There is also a great website for Potter fans to check out.

Over at Mom Dot you can enter a contest to win a new copy when it is released! I think it would be a perfect gift for anyone this year! I know we entered...fingers crossed :)

Shopping deals

Like most people, I like to try to make good decisions when shopping. I check each grocery stores advertisements, I like for coupons, I make mental notes of which store has which product at a lower price. Bargain shopping is very time consuming . There are blogs out there that make it much easier for us though. The one I always like to look at is The "Cent"sible Sawyer. She takes all the hard work out of bargain shopping. I know before I leave whether I should shop at Publix or Walmart, or even both. You can also find some nice give-a-ways too. So, go on over and check her out. I have it on my Bloglines list so I can see what's new each day :)
