Most requested baby shower gift

My older two kids have friends and coworkers who are pregnant. I think there are three new babies joining the world soon.  These burp cloths have become a requested item. I don't mind because they are so easy and quick to make.

I saved these two for my future grand-baby hope chest. I love those pirate kitties and the strawberry kiwi fabric just makes me smile.

Once again I just pulled lots of fabrics and went crazy and ended up with 27 burpees. I like to give 5 to the new mommas. That leaves me extras for the next run of babies.

Burp cloths

My daughter has a friend who had twin boys earlier this year. What do you do when there's a new baby or two? Why make burp cloths of course!

I had four cloth diapers left in my stash so I made two Nemo and two math burpies.

The father is a Florida Gators fan so I had make a couple of those.

These burp cloths were made with quilting cotton (the skateboard one is flannel) on the front and fleece on the back. My oldest son has friends who are going to be new parents in a few months so I will be making more burp cloths. They are my go to baby gift. You can never have too many burp cloths.

Binkie clips

When our kids were little, they would always spit out their pacifiers and laugh! They thought it was a great game to watch Mom and Dad chase after their binkies. Just when you gave it back to them...they would either spit it out or toss it as far as their little hands could. Anytime we stopped playing their "game" they would scream until we played some more. Lil' monsters. I wish I had this tutorial way back then. I guess I need to make a bunch for our newest grandbaby...Nate. Then again, why would I want to stop Jess from having all the same fun her Dad and I had when the kids were little :)
