These little guys measure 4" X 4" X 2" |
A little something I have been working on this week. These are the Small Treat Totes from the latest issue of Quilts and More. Of course I haven't been able to find the magazine locally yet but luckily All People Quilt has the pattern online.
It's a great little pattern. You use 2 fat quarters and you get 4 little totes.
You use a light fabric and a dark fabric and you end up with 2 versions of each. I love that the handles are ribbons.
Now I need to make some Christmas ones. These bags would be great for handing out candies to those special Trick-or-Treaters that come by. They would also look great sitting on your desk at work filled with candies. I can think of several different uses for these little totes.
(There are only 7 in the photo because my first one came out a bit wonky when I did the top stitching around the top. That one is already being used in the sewing room and I forgot to grab it for the photo shoot)

Cute bags! I should make these for my nieces.
Boy, between you and Monica, the whole country is going to have these little treat bags.
So cute! You're giving me ideas for Christmas!
Loving this little cutie. I'm going to try to find the pattern on All People Quilt. Do you possibly have the link?
Super cute. I'm looking for a little something to make for favors for my daughters wedding...this just might work!
These look great! I love the ribbons - too perfect. Hope your shoulder gets better really soon!
DARLING!@!!!!!
If I hadn't already made my son's class bags, I'd be making these for SURE!
Super cute bags! Yes, they could be used for so many things!! Very nice job!
those are really cute....
Robin, just love those little totes.
Robin you have made another fun group of treat bags this year.. awesome :)
You are sooo funny!!! I would normally guess that the one you left in the sewing room is filled with "sweets" for you to enjoy while sewing--but don't think you eat alot of sweets!!!
I do love them--but don't need any fall or halloween ones--but now Christmas is another subject!!!!
Hugs, Di
Halloween's not a big thing here. I wish it was and then I could make those way-too-cute little bags too.
These re adorable Robin! Glad to see you sewing again!
they are sure cute.
They are great. I love the fabrics too.
You must have had so much fun making these. They are absolutely adorable. Actually - don't you think they would look great in a big size too? A great market tote!
