This one is for my grandson DJ. Just a simple stacked coins. The binding is cut from one piece of fabric that had large stripes on it. The backing is a soft light blue sheet.
Isn't Robbie a great helper? I asked for someone to hold up the quilt for pictures and he jumped at the chance!

Your quilt is lovely and your grandson looks so happy to be helpful! I had to chuckle because it looked to me like a quilty version of the "boy with a barrel on as clothing" picture. I tend to look at pictures before I read. I am very glad I went back and read your post! LOL!!!
